Corporate Licensing Issue
All,
I'm having some problems with InstallShield 2009. I have a valid license server entry (which I have tested using telnet). However when I try and use InstallShield, either from the command line or the IDE I get the following errors:
"ISDEV : fatal error -7159: The product license has expired or has not yet been initialized. You must launch the IDE to configure the product license in order to proceed."
and
"InstallShield could not acquire a license because you are not entitled to use this software. You can try to reestablish the connection or exit InstallShield. Contact your license administrator for details. License error: -96:
Does anyone have any suggestions in getting this type of licensing working.
Thanks
Simon

On the machine where InstallShield is installed, make sure the following environment variable is set...
mvsn_LICENSE_FILE
and the value should be:
@
For example:
@MyLicenseServer
