Convert a Basic MSI Project to an InstallScript MSI Project
Does anyone know how (if it is possible) to convert a Basic MSI project to an InstallScript MSI project with InstallShield 2009. When I googled this I found an article indicating that I should edit the MSI file with InstallShield then select Project>Project Converters>Convert to InstallScript MSI Project from the menu. The problem is that when I tried this, the Convert to InstallScript MSI Project menu item is grayed out (disabled). Is the Project Converters functionality to available in InstallShield 2009? I think the article I found indicated that this functionality exists in InstallShield 2011, however if that functionality does not exist in IS 2009 I am rather puzzled that it appears on the menu at all disabled or otherwise. Any help, guidance, etc will be appreciated.
