Compile into Single .EXE

I have created an InstallShield Project. I picked Single Executable when I build it. In my Disk1 folder I have the Setup.exe and other files. If I take just the Setup.exe and move it to another machine and run it the setup.exe fails.
If I move the entire disk1 folder to another machine and run setup.exe it works.

Why? This seems like a useless feature. If I can't run the setup.exe on its own you can never deploy it via SCCM, unless you include all files in your SCCM source directory. And then you will replicate all those files to your MP's.

Thank to anyone who can give some information.

If you went through the Wizard - you would need to select a "Network Image" or you will get separate .cab files from the setup.exe file.

Hi. I am on the Project Assistant tab. And there I have only 3 options.

Single Executable
Internet
CD-Rom

Please don't tell me we have to walk through the Build\Release Wizard ??
