My Installscript installations recently started throwing a Catastrophic Failure 0x8000FFFF error. We're using Installshield Pro Spring 2012 (I know, I know...), and the errors started appearing a few weeks ago. I had made several changes, but the installations were working correctly, and then suddenly stopped. The errors occur after copying the files over, but before any self-registration. Is there anywhere on the target system where I can find some log information, maybe event information, really anywhere I can track down what's going on? Nothing is getting installed to the target system, nothing in an Installshield folder or expected target directory. It's happening on multiple different machines, so it's not machine specific.
