Associating Panels with our custom actions
Hi,
How do we associate dialog panels with our custom actions....Say for eg: I have a custom panel which installs using exec process some product. I want to associate a progress bar dialog with it...How do I do that

Please see this newsletter tip from Brian Lemberger for one possible approach: http://www.installshield.com/news/newsletter/0407-articles/progress.asp.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the quick response, I have a few more questions...
1) How can I associate different dialog panels for different product Action? Is is ever possible?
2) Is it possible to Associate different progress bars with different features in the same install sequence? if yes how? if no what is the altenative way for that
My problem scenario is like this:
I need to install some products before installing my main product...
My install sequence is like this
Main product
|
Feature 1
|
Feature 2
|
Main product
but in feature 1 and feature 2 I want to download some scripts at the install location and execute the same. now while these features get executed I want some dialog panels like progress bar or some status panels to be associated separately...

The Universal tip from Brian does not execute any commands. How to do that, while updating the progress. Thx.
