Appending Existing Registry Entry
Hi Folks
I did quite a bit of searching and I couldn't find a definitive answer on this. I am using Install Shield 2012 spring pro to build a basic msi project. During the installation our application has to add a registry entry, which was no problem using the Project Assistant Registry UI.
The problem I am having is that I need to be able to append/change existing registry keys that are independent of our application. I haven't found a way to do that and I am not sure its even possible via the assistant registry ui. If it's not do folks have a suggestion for a way to accomplish this such that during uninstall the changes are undone?
Thanks very much
