Any workaround for using an ism in Limited Edition?
I have an ism file that was created with IS 2009 Pro. Has anyone come up with a way to read it into LE? It came from a customer and i really don't want to get the full version.
Thanks
Thanks

There's a lot of things that Pro can do that LE can't. I doubt that it would work even if I could get it to open in LE.
One good thing about LE is it qualifies you for upgrade pricing to Pro. Would be about $1500 total last time I checked.

Hello Pweimer,
In InstallShield 2011 Limited Edition you would not be able to open an *.ism file. *.ISM file could be opened by InstallShield Premier and Professional Edition.
InstallShield Limited Edition with Visual Studio 2010 is used to create very basic installer and minimal functionalities are included whereas in other editions of InstallShield (Premier, Professional and Express) various features and functionalities are included.
