Does anyone else have a problem with agent.exe consuming tons of memory in the system when you start InstallShield 2009? I've not done sophisticated performance monitoring but according to task manager the private working set memory is on the order of 1.8GB, which slows the system down significantly. It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but I frequently have to kill it to get my system back in a usable state.
I'm running Vista x86 Ultimate SP2 on an dual quad core box with 4GB RAM.
I have InstallShield 2009 SP2 and its Agent.exe process is using about a gig of virtual memory on an XP SP2 machine and making it run more slowly. I previously was using IS11 with no such issue.
