Synopsis

On supported Linux systems, RPM registration creates a virtual package and uses it to make entries to the RPM database. This can be configured in the RPM Specification Settings dialog.

Discussion

To launch the RPM Specification Settings dialog box:
  1. Click General Settings on the Project page.
  2. Click Platforms, and then expand the UNIX Tag.
  3. In the Enable RPM Registration (Linux Only) setting, select Yes from the drop down menu, and then click the ellipsis button (...) in this setting.
  4. Add the applicable RPM Specification Settings and then click the OK button.
