how can i use this feature of installanywhere for using merge modules
HI,
i am unable to use merge modules feature of installanywhere
say i had made an installer and i want to combine this installer with a new one.
How do i make use of merge module to use my previous installer with this one.

James, it all comes up to what exactly you want to achieve. There are two type of merge modules, at build time and at run time. But I'm afraid that from what you say "combine your installer with another one" that it might not be easily feasible.

suppose i made an installer for one of my product components
Now if i want to integrate this component of my product with another component of my product,what should i do???????
Or more clearly i want to know how do we make use of merge modules.

If for instance your installer supports silent mode installation if you create a new installer that needs your existing installer it can easily call it in silent mode (after having created the installer.properties, of course).
