Windows Firewall Outbound Rule (windows_ie_ac_001)
Hi
We have an InstallAnywhere installer that when installed on Windows 10 Professional it is creating a Windows firewall outbound rule called "windows_ie_ac_001". This is being reported as a security concern by one of our customers. We initially had no idea why this was happening but after closer examination it was found that the creation of the shortcut in the user shortcut folder was causing this. Remove this action and the rule is not created. We are somewhat baffled as to why this is doing this. Can anyone explain why this is happening?
Paul
