Upgrading InstallAnywhere 2008
We are using InstallAnywhere 2008 VP1 Enterprise [Build-3571] installer. To upgrade this, we have plans of ordering a second license. Before going ahead with our plans we need to know whether if upgrading IA breaks anything from the existing functionality.
Are there any significant changes in the upgraded vesion that donot have a backward compatibity with the one we are using now?
Please share your thoughts on this.
Thanks.

Actually, you don't need a second license in order to upgrade. All you need is to purchase maintenance, which will entitle you to free upgrades. From my experience, there are always little things that change between versions, and depending on your project, it might impact you or not.
