Prevent 64 bits installer to start on 32 bits platform
Hi,
We have an installer dedicated to 64 bits OS (done with IA 2008).
We bundle a 64 bits VM with the installer, that will be installed and used by our application.
If we launch this installer on 32 bits, we have the error message "Windows error 216 occured while loading the java VM".
I would like replace this error by a clearer message like "System architecture not supported".
I didn't find how to do add a system architecture check: the error appears before the real installer starting...
Does someone have a solution?
Thanks in advance
Nathalie

For games? Either 32bit or 64 bit paying little heed to your OS, however a 64 bit diversion won't keep running on a 32bit framework. Any 32bit application can't get to more than 4gb smash. A 64 bit application has no such points of confinement, thus smash prerequisites have gone up a ton lately.
