Is this possible to upgrade Installshiled installed application with InstallAnywhere

Hi,

I am new to InstallAnywhere, currently our product installers are creating by using Installshield. Now we are planning to create installers with InstallAnywhere to support multi platforms in next release of our product.

My doubt is, is it possible to upgrade old version of my product/application which is installed by installshiled with installer created by InstallAnywhere.

Please give me some input, if possible, how it could be done.

You will need to rewrite your IS projects in IA syntax.

I think you can't migrate IS project file to IA. Both the product are designed with different technologies.

You need to redesign the project file using InstallAnywhere product.

you can upgrade. you need to get registry entry & find if the earlier version is installed
