Is it possible to change the help / usage output?

Hi everybody,

I have a short question and did not find anything about it in my search results.
I am using IA 2011SP3.

If I call "installer.bin --help" I get the common output:
Usage: fcmvm_testing_2014-07-29_beta_2011SP3_4.1.1.0-TIV-TSFCM-Linux [-f | -options]
(to execute the installer)

where options include:
-?
show this help text
-i [swing | console | silent]
specify the user interface mode for the installer
-D=
specify installer properties
-r
Generates response file.
The options field may also include the following in case of uninstaller
if it is enabled for Maintenance Mode
-add [ Add Specified Features
-remove [ Remove Specified Features
-repair
Repair Installation
-uninstall
Uninstall
Now my question is:
Is it possible to change this output somewhere to get a more customized help / usage output?
To be more precise, I would like to erase the " -r " option and put some -D... options directly to the usage output. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks a lot!

I am also looking for the same. Let me know if you have a way to do this.

when I hit help for my installer, it should display the help related to that particular installer along with required parameters etc.
End user doesn't care about install anywhere default help menu and it won't help him. All IA binaries gives the same help menu which is not useful.

Hi @thomasmu & @pv7721 & @rakesh_dama,

Thank you for your posts.

There is currently no built-in functionality to customize the installer help.

Thanks,

Ian
