IA could not check the windows 2008 version info correctly

I think that I might have some wrong operation.
it is IA 2010 sp1 version, my current project need the IA 2010 Version.


created a new test project for IA,
Select the Rules
add rule
check the platform
more platforms
windows Server 2008
save.

build project successful
install failed for the "the installer cannot run on this system"

I do not think that IA have this obvious bug. But I do not know which step are wrong. I did all the steps depend on the IA help documents.

Is it 2008 or 2008 R2 (which is 64 bit only). Is it a 32 or 64 bit platform? What is the JVM you bundle, if any?

2008 R2
64 bit platform

Have you tried Windows 2008 R2 in your tests? I suspect Windows 2008 R2 might be different than Windows 2008 (in terms of platform check, I mean).

THE Debug info shows that

Windows Server 2008

Also, IA automatically give me suggestion "THIS PLATFORM" is

Windows Server 2008

But I will try + R2, Thank you.
