I want another gimmick with installanywhere speed folder
hi,
basically my problem is i am using a speed folder for building my installer but my problem is i am manipulating an xml file which is inside a jar file inside the speed folder and this speed folder is not visible to the modify text file action.
How do i do that?????
Can anyone give me some creative idea for doing this.
james.

What you have to do is "create" the file not using speed folders. What I would do is keep the speed folder. Then after it, mimic your folder structure and add a file with the filename of the file you want to modify. Then just uncheck the folder and the file from the features to install.

You probably figured this out already, but what I did was use the "Existing file" bullet of modify file, and then enter the path to which my speedfolder's file would be installed.
