Gentlemen, we are using Install Anywhere 2018 and once we migrated the VM to Java 11, the ExtractToFile plug-in has stopped working. My question is two-fold:
Would an update to Install Anywhere 2020 solve the issue?
Is there a way we can compile the plugins at home? Where can I get the com.zerog.ia.api.pub.* dependencies?
No, I would not update to be honest. I have a story about it, so I know why I am so serious here. Some time ago when I was running my own website, I have made this mistake and you have no idea and also, you don’t want to know it, because it is hell, what problems had this update bring me. For example, that time I was owning a WordPress website and had a plugin installed, https://wordpress.org/plugins/bookit/ this one. It crashed, I swear, right after I had installed the update my lovely calendar plugin crashed. I don’t know exactly what the problem is, but I can suggest you to try and solve the problem on your old version.
