Check for existing installation

When I run the installer, how can I check whether my product is already installed?
How can I get variables like $USER_INSTALL_DIR$ or $USER_SHORTCUTS$ of that previous installation?

Peter,

The previously installed information can be retrieved using Find Component Registry action or using Get Windows Registry action.
