The platform only reports storage metrics from the OS level (Windows OS, VMware, etc) It is possible to inventory storage devices using SNMP however this will only provide inventory detail on the device and no performance or storage metrics are collected from the storage devices. It is likely the devices will be listed as 'Basic Devices' if the devices support standards based SNMP such as a printer reports. In the event that the storage devices do not support SNMP, the devices would be listed as an IP address in the inaccessible devices section and no additional information will be reported from the device.
