What are the bandwidth requirements? I understand it's minimal, but wanted to give the support teams some clarity.
Answer:
In terms of network utilization, there is no way for us to offer metrics into that as every environment and the contained servers are unique. We have encountered situations with thousands of servers with little communication and small data uploads to the platform and we have seen several hundred large web facing servers with hundreds of thousands of Netstat records being uploaded each time. If network stability is at risk or of a major concern, please start small in the scope of scanning. This can be done by using a single subnet section for inventory and having the onsite team monitor the increase in network or server load during that time. Those same devices could then be licensed and monitored for 2-3 days to examine load during performance collection.
