How does CloudScape match cloud instances?
Answer:
Currently When the Calculate Cloud Pricing feature is utilized, the feature will not take into consideration optimized instances for a specific Platform. Instance matching is based solely on CPU and memory.
When our Platform matches a device to an instance, the lowest cost instance that will adequately accommodate the requirements of the device, is selected. The instance match with the lowest cost for AWS may be CPU optimized, however, the same device instance match for Azure may be memory optimized.
