I want to reconcile what Cloudscape sees against a baseline inventory. My normal process is to add a field in my baseline and add the Cloudscape asset_id when I can confirm a name or IP match. If I have to split up my collection across more than one RN150, can I keep doing reconciliation this way or is it possible I will have duplicate asset_ids? I don't care if they are unique across all assessments everywhere, just within the subscription code.
It is going to depend on the device type. Many are prefixed with the assessment id, (used internally) which will make them unique, however, some are "short" form which typically just the IP address in integer/numeric form.
