Hello.  Has anyone set up an installation where Flexera directly connects to ServiceNow and exports the table data, then normalizes and enhances it, and then sends the data on to another customer application for use of that normalized data without sending the data back to ServiceNow?  What was your general design for your scenario?  Thanks.

If you are using Flexera One IT Asset Management, a typical approach for this kind of data flow could involve steps like the following:

  1. Use the ServiceNow Inventory Connector to import discovery data from ServiceNow.
  2. Define custom reports to report on the data to be sent to the other application.
  3. Use the reportsExecute API to retrieve data from the defined reports to be passed on for further processing.
