Adaptor Studio Detail Training or PDF

Can someone please share the detail PDF or Training path for adaptor Studio

i.e. 

Update Rule : we have four update rule. 

* Always Update

* Never update

* update only when value is empty

* Never replace an existing value with blank.

I know they are self explanatory. Still need to read about other things like i.e.  Matching existing Data.

Need understanding of When, what and where in detail about adaptors?
