We are pleased to inform you that the March 2022 update (release number 2021 R1.4) of Flexera One ITAM is deployed to UAT environments on March 3rd. We are planning to upgrade the production environment in Europe on March 10 and North America on March 21.

Following are the features included in the March update
New report optimizes licenses for Windows Server (Microsoft Windows Server in virtualized environment, license cost optimization will provide a summarized view of optimal licensing consumption and potential cost savings)
New Application Transparency report especially helps embedded applications (A new Application Transparency report gives rich insights into the evidence collected as part of FlexNet inventory)
New license exemption by file path (A new reason is available to exempt an application installation from consuming a license entitlement. It is intended for those few occasions where a 'parent' or primary application is licensed to include another embedded 'child' piece of software that provides required functionality)
Inventory from POWER architecture running Linux (With this release, the FlexNet inventory agent also supports a range of Linux distributions running on POWER8 (and later) processors).
Updates to Kubernetes agent (There are several updates to the Flexera Kubernetes inventory agent, used to help gather inventory from containers in Kubernetes clusters within your network).
Individual beacons are always displayed for Discovery tasks in the System Tasks view (Improvement to System tasks page)
The Microsoft SQL Server Optimization report now reports if inventory devices are hosted on-premises or in the cloud (Improvement to Microsoft SQL Server Optimization report)
