Flexera has released a new FinOps Bill Connect API to ingest the spend into Flexera One. This is a breaking change from the previous API version. This version of the Cloud Bill Connect API replaces the legacy version documented at https://reference.rightscale.com
Notable changes
- The API hostname is changed to api.flexera.[com, eu, au]
- The API resource path is changed to /finops-onboarding
- The create, read, update, and delete events are recorded in the Flexera Events API for auditing of changes to the bill connections.
- The session name is changed to flexera-finops.
- Cloud Vendors supported: AWS, Google, Azure EA (Legacy), and Common Bill Ingest (CBI).
- Azure MCA and Azure MCA CSP are planned to be updated at a later date.
- The API is documented in the Flexera Developer Portal
- The Flexera One UI is using the new API.
This update replaces the legacy Bill Connect APIs. The legacy API are no longer being updated and customers using them should migrate to the new API.
