Suggest an improvement

Submit a request for new functionality or enhancement to an existing feature that would make the product behave more efficiently or extend its capability.

For Example:

  • I would like to see products differently.

  • I would like to see the product do something new.

  • I have an idea for how the product could be improved.

Open a support case

Create a new support case to get help with a problem you may be experiencing. This if the product behaves in a way in contravention to the documentation or displays an error visibly or in any log files or debug.

For Example:

  • I cannot get the product to work the way i want.

  • I donot understand something about the product.

  • I believe I have discovered a problem with the product.

Will using the 11.17.0 lmgrd.exe with my older vendor daemon solve vulnerabilities?

or must I rebuild our vendor daemon as well?

@stan_wssi , As based on the version compatibility rules:

• Version of lmutil/lmtools must be >=
• Version of lmadmin (or lmgrd), which must be >=
                     Note • lmadmin can only be used with components with a version of 9.2 or later.
• Version of vendor daemon, which must be >=

But, if we talking in terms of the vulnerabilities, then it would be worth checking of particular vulnerability is related with lmgrd or the vendor daemon. If the later, then a simple upgrade of lmgrd will not help us mitigate the threat.

So, if you have any specific vulnerability # for which  i can help assess that, do let me know.
