FlexNet Floating License
I recently purchased a floating license from SnapGene which is shared via FlexNet server, which is running on a windows PC. On the network I can connect other windows devices to the server and access the licensed software. However on any Mac (OS-X) I try, I cannot retrieve the floating license and receive the error
Hi @tedtt9 I have the same issue and I think I found out what was going on. I was working with a client computer that got bugged up. Once I moved off to do a clean install on 2 other clients the problem I discussed did not exist. For clarification the whole issue started when the MAC address of the server where the license server was on was changed. I updated the license key to reflect the MAC change and noted the problem.
