Here are the release highlights and key release dates related to the Software Monetization 2021.12 products.

RELEASE SCHEDULE

  • December 3: FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.12 ALM/LLM and Cloud Licensing Service 2021.12 in UAT – COMPLETED
  • December 9: Cloud Licensing Service 2021.12 in Production (no outage required) and FlexNet Embedded LLS 2021.12 GA – COMPLETED
  • December 16: FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.12 ALM/LLM in Production (no outage required) – COMPLETED

 

RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS

FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.12 ALM

The FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.12 ALM release includes issue fixes.

FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.12 LLM

The FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.12 LLM release includes customer-specific issue fixes. No release notes will be published for these customer-specific changes.

 

FlexNet Embedded 2021.12

The FlexNet Embedded 2021.12 release includes enhancements for the Cloud Licensing Service and the FlexNet Embedded local license server. Note: There are no changes to client kits as part of this release. License server changes in this release include:

  • A new REST API makes it easier for license administrators to accurately report feature usage by returning the sum of all feature counts across active entitlements.
  • Feature partitions users will observe improved performance handling of larger feature partition models.

For more details about the issue fixes, please refer to the FlexNet Embedded local license server release notes. The release notes will be available on the Product and License Center upon release.
