The FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.10 is now available on the Production environment and the FlexNet Embedded 20210.10 local license server can be downloaded from the Product and License Center.

Here are the release highlights and key release dates related to the Software Monetization 2021.10 products.

RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS

FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.10 ALM

  • FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.10 ALM is available on UAT (released September 30th)
  • FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.10 ALM production (planned for October 13th - no outage required)

This release introduces the ability to have licenses associated with inactive or obsolete line items automatically removed from Cloud License Service instances. This functionality makes it easier to manage licenses on Cloud License Service instances.

To enhance security of the FlexNet Operations system, a new Data Access API policy has been added. This policy will lock a user ID out of the Data Access API after 5 invalid authentication attempts.

FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.10 LLM

  • FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.10 LLM is available on UAT (released September 30th)
  • FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.10 LLM production (planned for October 13th - no outage required)

This release of FlexNet Operations Cloud LLM includes fixes for the download package manager functionality. For more details, please refer to the FlexNet Operations 2021.10 LLM Release Notes on the Documentation site.

FlexNet Embedded 2021.10

  • Cloud Licensing Service 2021.10 in UAT (planned for October 7th - outage required)
  • FlexNet Embedded LLS 2021.10 GA (planned for October 13th)
  • Cloud Licensing Service 2021.10 in Production (planned for October 23rd - outage required)

The FlexNet Embedded 2021.10 release includes issue fixes for the FlexNet Embedded local license server. There are no changes to client kits as part of this release.

For more details about the issue fixes, please refer to the FlexNet Embedded local license server release notes. The release notes will be available on the Product and License Center upon release.
