This post includes the release highlights and important release dates related to the Software Monetization 2021.07 products. Note there are no product changes for the FlexNet Operations Cloud LLM in this release.

FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.07 ALM

  • FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.07 ALM is available on UAT (released June 29th)
  • FlexNet Operations Cloud 2021.07 ALM production was deployed on Thursday, July 15th (no outage required)

This release introduces support for removing metered licenses from Cloud License Servers, allowing users to better manage their licenses across their organization. Note metered license removal is not supported on local license servers. 

For more information about the release, please refer to the release notes on our Documentation site after the production release. 

FlexNet Embedded 2021.07

  • Cloud Licensing Service 2021.07 is available on UAT (released June 29th)
  • Cloud Licensing Service 2021.07 production was deployed on Tuesday, July 13th (no outage required)
  • FlexNet Embedded Local License Server 2021.07 GA is available on Thursday, July 15th

The FlexNet Embedded 2021.07 release includes fixes to Cloud Licensing Service and the FlexNet Embedded local license server. 

The FlexNet Embedded Local License Server release notes will be available on the Product and License Center at GA.
