Is it possible to use a proxy when accessing the entitled license for a FlexNet Operations 2016 on premise install?Answer
The answer to this question depends on whether the proxy is a transparent proxy or an authenticated proxy.A transparent proxy allows communication between the /cloud license server on the Flexera domain and the FNO 2016 On prem installed locally with out the need for any username and password. This method should be configurable and will work.
An authenticated proxy requires that a username and password be used to access the proxy, this is currently not configurable in FNO 2016 On-prem and is therefore not supported.
