FlexNet Operations On-Premises: Troubleshooting a Disabled "Upgrade" Button During a Database Schema Upgrade
FlexNet Operations On-Premises: Troubleshooting a Disabled "Upgrade" Button During a Database Schema Upgrade
When you attempt to upgrade the database schema as part of a FlexNet Operations On-Premises upgrade, the Upgrade button displayed on the Configuration > Database > Manage Schema page in FlexNet Setup might be disabled.
Note: FlexNet Setup is launched automatically (or manually) once the FlexNet Operations installer has completed the upgrade process.
To help you troubleshoot, refer to the following list of some reasons why this button might be disabled when you expect it to be enabled.
- One or more database settings defined in Configuration > Database are incorrect.
- The database has already been upgraded. (To determine whether the database has been upgraded, check the plt_module table version. If the latest version is listed, the database has been upgraded.)
- FlexNet Operations is unable to connect to the database server. Here are some reasons why connectivity issues can occur:
- The Transport Layer Security (TLS) version on the database server differs from that on the application server.
- Incorrect database credentials have been provided.
