When attempting to activate a certificate based license in FlexNet Operations On-Premises, sometimes the following error message is returned in the UI:Batch update returned unexpected row count from update [0]; actual row count: 0; expected: 1
In the flexnet.log, the complete error message reads:
Caused by: org.hibernate.StaleStateException: Batch update returned unexpected row count from update [0]; actual row count: 0; expected: 1
Cause
This error is the result of two different FNO users (It is possible with same users as well) attempting to activate the same line item simultaneously.This could also happen:
If there concurrent trusted activations.
If you try to edit the same line item in different sessions.

Enhancement request IOC-000087084 has been submitted to improve the error message FNO returns when this situation occurs.
