Known Issue: Asset Retirement Reason property values are not updated by a business adapter if the "Update only if the value is empty" rule is used (IOJ-1737346)

Summary

When updating the Retirement Reason of an asset, if the Update rule is set to Update only if the value is empty, the field is not updated even if the import was successful.

Reproduction

1. Create a business adapter that contains the asset object.
2. Populate the Retirement Reason and set the Update rule of the value to Update only if the value is empty.
3. Import the business adapter.
4. The Retirement Reason field in the UI is not populated.

Workaround

Use another option for the Update rule.

Fix status

There are no plans to address this issue.
