It has taken a little while, but the March release of FlexNet Manager Suite for the cloud is now available for testing the the UAT environment.

This release is named FlexNet Manager Suite 2019 R2.2 - even though it is 2020. We will catch-up in the next major release. ;0)

One notable change is a new Devices page that has been added to the Evidence properties view. This new grid allows you to quickly see  the devices where the evidence is installed (or accessed in the case of Client Access License evidence). We expect this will allow you to quickly observe the devices where software is installed. This can be really helpful when investigating any unrecognized the evidence.

If you are using Microsoft's SCCM as an inventory source, you will now see additional hardware information for your devices. This is possible as this normalized information is coming through from TechnopediaYou do not require any additional license to receive this data .

Identification of Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack is now possible along with a new connector for importing inventory from Tanium, The ability to establish an encrypted connection to your SAP Admin module is now possible.

If you are using the on-premises edition of FlexNet Manager Suite, these updates are under consideration for inclusion in the next release.

FlexNet Manager Suite 2019 R2.2 is available now for testing in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment.

Upgrades to the production environments are planned for:
EU: March 23
NA: April 1
NA: April 21

Please note that if you currently have beacon servers running an earlier release of beacon components than FlexNet Manager Suite 2019 R2, we recommend that you do not upgrade those beacons at this time without a specific reason to upgrade. Instead, wait for the May 2020 release FlexNet Manager Suite 2019 R2.3 before considering further beacon upgrades. The next release is expected to contain some changes which will significantly improve performance during certain discovery and remote execution operations compared to the performance of beacon versions 2019 R2, 2019 R2.1 and 2019 R2.2.
