How to reset a license table layout


This article discusses how to reset the table layout in FlexNet Manager Platform.


In some instances you may be required to reset the table layout in FlexNet Manager Platform. This may include
  • Tables not being displayed as expected
  • Column names not appearing as expected (columns that should appear in the column chooser are below: Name, Type,-Priority, LicenseID, Version)
  • Folders no longer accessible


The following steps can be used to return the table layout to its default settings:
1. Reset the table layout:
  • Go to the license grid (the grid with the problem).
  • Right-click any column header to bring up the context menu.
  • Choose "Reset Table Layout".
  • Observe if the correct columns are shown.
  • If the problem persists, please proceed to step 2.
2. Delete cached layout
  • Make sure the FNMP console (local or remote) is not running on the system; if any is running, close it down.
  • Go to the "Application Data" folder for the current user on the system exhibiting the problem (either local or Remote Desktop). On Windows Server 2003, the default location for the Administrator user would be "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\", on Windows Vista and Windows 7 the default location is "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\"
  • Go to the "ManageSoft Corp\Compliance Manager\TableLayout" folder.
  • Delete everything inside the "TableLayout" folder.
  • Open the FNMP console and check if the problem persists.
