Summary

When linking a Field to a CSV Column, the column names show as F1, F2,... F10 instead of the actual Column Names specified in the CSV file.

Symptoms

When linking a Field to a CSV Column, the column names show as F1, F2,... F10 instead of the actual Column Names specified in the CSV file.

Cause

When selecting a CSV or Excel Spreadsheet in the Import section, the First row contains names is not checked.

Therefore, the Business Adapter Studio thinks that the first row contains data and not a Column Name, therefore giving the F1 (1st Column) F2 (second Column) F10 (10th Column) naming convention to be associated with the order of the columns.

Resolution

Checking the First row contains column names check mark and refreshing the data resolves the issue.
