Beacon Policy Status shows "Awaiting update".
Relunch the inventory beacon application for getting a new policy does not resolve the issue.


Increment a beacon policy revision and relunch the inventory beacon with the following steps resolved the issue.
  1. Login to FlexNet Manager Suite webui.
  2. Go to Discovery & Inventory > Settings.
  3. #s3gt_translate_tooltip_mini { display: none !important; } Update something in the Inventory Settings page, and then click Save.
  4. Revert the updated setting in the step 3, and the click Save.
  5. Login to the Inventory Beacon installed computer.
  6. Launch the Inventory Beacon.
