Use cases to integrate FlexEra with ServiceNow

We are implementing ServiceNow as ITSM and CMDB and FlexEra Manager and FLex Era Admin studio, can someone suggest the use cases for integrating these two tools.

Is it a best practice to integrate them ?

Hi,

Judging from what I have seen in colleague's projects, the default integration between Flexera FNMS and ServiceNow is not always optimal. You could start with the FNMSInvAdaptersAndConnectorsReference.pdf to gain an understanding of what is transferred in what direction and if it suits your needs. Depending on this, you could

• not integrate at all
• do a manual integration, e.g. only in one direction, or including additional attributes
• use the default integration

Understanding the actual business need, should be the first step.

You may also want to refer to the IT Service Management Practice Guide  for more use cases, and Admin Studio's role will be through its integration with App Broker in this context.
