Update Corp Structure with Restrictions (on licenses) pickup new corp unit automatically

Hi Team

Is there a way to update corporate structures with out re-applying restrictions on licenses manually.

Our goal is to update existing corporate structure to new corp structure where the levels would increase or decrease and also we expecting the restrictions should pickup the new corp structure automatically.

Is it possible ?

Or can find/replace by option in BAS helps in this case ?

Hi,

As far as I know, this is not possible of the box. However, with some SQL, this can be done, in fact I have created such importer in the past. Basically what you need to do is:

• create the new corporate unit
• identify corresponding pairs of old and new corporate units
• re-attach existing elements and/or settings to the new element
• remove the old corporate unit

It is mandatory that you have a unique identifier to match those pairs and that you can tell which obe is the old and which one is the new element.
