SCCM 2111 Upgrade

We need to know if SCCM 2111 will be supported.  Looking at the supported inventory data sources, I don’t see that version under Microsoft Software Center Configuration Manager.  We will be upgrading to the newer version at the end of the month.  We need to make sure this will not affect the inventory collection from SCCM.

Here is a little info regarding what is coming with this upgrade.

Thanks

Well, as the FNMS inventory reader relies on the SCCM database, it should continue to work unless Microsoft changes specific the tables/views/functions/attributes used by the reader.

Have you thought about testing it? I guess you're not migrating your complete SCCM infrastructure without having tested one or two things in a test/UAT environment, right?

Yes, our SCCM Team just informed us of the upgrade.    I know they are using pre-release version 2111.  I am talking with that team to determine when the upgrade to the pre-release version was done.  I don't expect any issues, but I wanted to put this out there to be on the safe side.  Thanks for the response.
