It's not clear to me (and perhaps not to other community members) what you mean by "define" the hard partitioning in Solaris Zones, e.g. are you asking for manually being able to enter or change it; are you asking for inventory capabilities and then which inventory source(s); other?
The FlexNet inventory would normally collect and then reflect the hard partitioning (although I don't have a specific sample screen shot):
