Flexera Launch Error_Content Blocked

Hi Team,

We have recently completed DB creation, App Server installation & configuration parts from the process of Flexera Implementation for Melbourne Water company.

However, when we are trying to launch the application (i.e. FlexNet Manager Suite 2018 R2) using Internet Explorer we are getting one pop-up error message stating as "Content Blocked", please find the attached (PFA) .pdf file consisting the screenshots of the same.

As we are stuck at this point and yet to activate the product, apply license blades and install Beacon as per the Installation Guidelines .pdf document, so need your assistance in order to resolve this issue and proceed further.

FYR - My working hours is between 11:00am & 6:00pm IST from Monday-Friday.

Typically if an Application Pool stops, even after you start it manually, it means that the logon credentials assigned to that pool are not correct.  In regards to the FlexNet Manager Platform Pool, this is managing the FlexNet Web Site, which I think is why you get the 503 error.  In regards to this specific application pool:

1) Is this specific pool running with the same Account as the other pools?

2) Is the Account that is running the pool your FlexNet Manager Service Account?

Try going into the Advanced Settings of this pool and find the Identity attribute.  Click on the ... button and reenter the Logon and Password of the Service Account and then start up the pool and see if this fixes the problem.

Hi Sourav,

If you're trying to access from the application server itself, please check the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration.

I consider it best practice to turn it off.

Hi Sourav,

Can you please check http://localhost/suite from your app server, or from your network http://<FNMS FQDN>/suite

Usually the webpage for FNMS is there.

We have tried after changing this setting as suggested, however the issue still persists.

1. When accessing "http://localhost/suite", we are getting an error - "Service Unavailable"

2. And while accessing through "http://server.fqdn/suite/", we are getting this error - "This page can't be displayed".
