Does the FNMS Agent scan raw disks?

Good day

We are running on-prem FNMS 2023 R2 and would like to know the following:

  1.  When we install the FNMS Agent on s390 (zlinux) machines, does it scan raw disks as well?

The reason we ask this is that some of these servers have oracle DB's running on them and the DB itself sits on RAW Disks. So these are not regular file systems and they are not mounted on any folders.

If it does scan RAW disks, will it push the performance up on these servers.

The agent will scan mounted filesystems. I expect a RAW disk would not appear as a mounted filesystem, so wouldn't be scanned.

I believe the agent will access the Database Management System (DBMS) and and not the DB data files directly. If that's the case, raw partitions shouldn't be an issue.
