Connection to LDAP using the business adapter from the beacon

to set up an ldap connection using the business adapter from the beacon, is it necessary that I open the ports between FNMS portal and active directory ldap? or just the ports between the beacon and active directory ldap?

Ports between your local Beacon server and domain controller sould be fine. The Beacon is the "querying" component.
