Automatically Tag Devices Based on Beacon Server?

Not sure if this is the right place to pose this question, but is it possible to automatically change the "Hosted in Cloud" and "Hosted In" properties of an inventory device based on the inventory beacon it reports to?  Our goal is to use automation, if possible, to set that attribute on a device.  Open to any suggestions on how to accomplish that within a 2019 R1 on prem instance, or if there is no way, to submit an enhancement request

Hi,

Afaik there is no built-in function to identify the beacon an inventory came from. I could imagine a script based approach to inject something into the ndi file before the Beacon upload task runs.

Or perhaps, as subnets are usually linked to Beacons, you might want to use the device's IP address to tag them?
