IBM offers few of its product families to be licensed under ‘Virtual Processor Core (VPC)’ metric.
The FNMS 2020 R2 release of FlexNet Manager Suite included a new IBM Virtual Processor Core (VPC) license type for non-containerized infrastructure to support software licenses based on VPC.
Recently 74 IBM Cloud Pak SKUs were updated from PVU to VPC. Similarly, we have now identified 1,232 SKUs from different IBM product families that needs its ‘License Type’ to be updated as ‘IBM VPC’. These changes covers both license-SKUs like Subscription, Update and non-license SKUs like Support, Maintenance.
These updates cover 89 different IBM product families whose list is attached here for reference. The identified 1,232 SKUs will be linked to its respective counterparts in ARL, PURL and Bundles wherever applicable.
The upcoming SKU, PURL, Bundles release scheduled on 27th August 2021 will deliver these SKUs with updated License Type.
