After updating to this ARL on 2021 R1 on-prem we've had problems with Oracle Partitioning, Advanced Security and Database In-Memory are showing weird values.

EDIT: removed comment on SQL Server 2016/2019 detecting as application without edition information as it is not related to this ARL/PURL, rather an earlier change. Seems that there is overlapping evidence that was the cause that can be avoided setting them to ignore.

Is this know issue?

In theory it's possible to have two different version & edition SQL Server installed on the same machine. eg: 2008 Express + 2012 Standard . Maybe open a support ticket the friendly Flexera support engineer will guide you how to investigate and narrow down to the issue whether it's caused by this content library update or simply a truth of what have been installed ...

Cheers

@Sabbigeri I've opened a case because we are seeing the same issue @chandan_kodgirw and @anttimustonen reported. Any news? Is there a way to back-out the ARL update? Thanks!

Thanks all for the reports of anomalies related to various Oracle options here. An issue has indeed been identified - see the post at Oracle issues in latest ARL release.

A related P2 incident has also been posted. You can follow the status of this incident at https://status.flexera.com/incidents/32qrxs0176kl.

Hi Everyone,
We are done with the intermediate ARL release where the Oracle SoftwareTypeId issue has been addressed. ARL build no. 2715.
On-prem customers can download the latest ARL cab file from the regular locations.
Cloud customers are expected to receive the update tomorrow.

At the first glance Oracle consumption is back to normal after applying the ARL .cab file. Many thanks @shuduguru! & team!
